Olly Murs just can’t keep his cool when it comes to Jennifer Lawrence.

After revealing that he has a crush on the Oscar winner during a BBC Radio 1 interview a few weeks ago, the British singer (behind hits like “Troublemaker”) was invited to sit down with the star and her Hunger Games castmates.

Murs, 31, didn’t waste any time when it came to flirting with Lawrence – especially after Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw dubbed him as the “biggest Jennifer Lawrence fan in the world.”

“You are?” Lawrence, 25, asked, feigning shock over Murs being obviously starstuck. “You’ve virtually ignored me since I got here.”

The singer immediately questioned Lawrence about her makeout tendencies, and asked what it was like to kiss a friend (like the fellow interviewees Josh Hutchinson and Liam Hemsworth) on-screen.

“I always say, ‘I’m taking bottom lip,’ because I like bottom lip,” Lawrence said, laughing. “I don’t do that in my personal life, I just kinda let the cards fall where they may.”

“I’d let you have bottom lip,” Murs awkwardly mumbled in response.

Before the Wednesday interview was over, Murs said he’d catch Lawrence if she fell, repeatedly called her a “superb” actress and asked her “ideal type of man.”

As if his feelings weren’t obvious enough, Grimshaw then revealed the origin story of Murs’ appearance.

“Aw, thats sweet” she responded with a hug – not quite the kiss the star was hoping for.

Murs did walk away with a selfie with Lawrence, however, which he posted to Instagram.

“Haha seriously need to go back to flirting school after meeting Miss Lawrence,” he joked.
