Ortega/Getty; Barry King/FilmMagic It’s good to be the king of the box office – just ask Chris Pratt, who’s riding high on the record-breaking success of Jurassic World. And while the newly crowned most-wanted-man in Hollywood has the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic sequels on his slate, he’s also set to star in a new movie with Hollywood’s reigning box-office queen: Jennifer Lawrence. The white-hot stars are teaming up for Passengers, a big-budget romantic sci-fi drama that’s due to start shooting in September, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Watch Chris Pratt Get Choked Up Talking About His Son The film, which reportedly had stars including Reese Witherspoon, Keanu Reeves and Rachel McAdams attached to it while it was in development, has been waiting for a green light for most of this year as Sony underwent a leadership change, but now it’s got the go-ahead, and its stars are in for a lucrative payday. Thanks to the record-breaking haul of Jurassic World, which took in $524.1 million worldwide in its opening weekend, 35-year-old Pratt’s salary has reportedly jumped from $10 million to $12 million, while Oscar winner Lawrence, 24, is set to get a hefty $20 million paycheck against 30 percent of the profit after the movie breaks even, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
