Jennifer Aniston: I'm into the Kardashians – but Social Media Makes Me 'Stressed Out'
The actress admits her Instagram experience made her "self-conscious"
If you are hoping to follow Jennifer Aniston on Twitter soon, don’t hold your breath.
“I was so stressed out, sweating bullets,” she tells PEOPLE. “It was too much pressure. For these Kardashians, it’s a career!”
She’s also worried about the effect social media is having on the younger generation.
“Kids aren’t speaking to each other anymore,” says the Aveeno spokeswoman. “I was with friends of ours from Vermont and their two kids don’t have an iPhone or an iPad. They were 9 and 12 and were the most interesting young adults. Seeing other kids on their [phones] all the time, it makes me sad.”
But that doesn’t mean she won’t indulge in a little Kardashian viewing now and then.
“I sadly am very much interested in the Kardashian-Jenner thing,” Aniston says. “That’s a guilty pleasure for sure.”
And her thoughts on the recent Caitlyn Jenner Vanity Fair cover?
“I thought it was beautiful.”
