Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and Kathryn Hahn star in a new Peter Bogdanovich film
Tired of love triangles? The new comedy She’s Funny That Way features a love knot between not three – or four, or even five – but six people.
The Peter Bogdanovich-directed film follows the romantic escapades of the cast and crew of a Broadway production. Owen Wilson plays the director, whose wife, played by Kathryn Hahn, is cast in a play alongside her ex-lover (Rhys Ifans). The film only gets more complicated from there when Wilson casts the woman he is having an affair with (Imogen Poots) in the play as well.
Now, enter Jennifer Aniston – Poots’ therapist, who needs her own therapist. Aniston sports a professional bob and an unprofessional personality as she releases her clients’ private information to each other and punches people in the face. She is consumed by her failing relationship with Wilson’s playwright in the film, played by Will Forte, who happens to be developing a crush on Poots.
Got all that? She’s Funny That Way hits theaters Aug. 14.
