It’s back to work for Jenna Dewan.

The actress, 37, was spotted on the set of her upcoming TV show Mixtape on Friday in Los Angeles. Dewan was seen arriving at her trailer days after she and Channing Tatum announced the end of their eight-year marriage.

She was dressed casually for the day, wearing a pair of light wash jeans and a green jacket.

Dewan recently booked the lead part in Fox’s musical drama pilot, which comes from former Smash show-runner Josh Safran. She’ll also soon be returning to her hosting job on NBC’s World of Dance.

The actors, both 37, announced the split in a joint statement exclusive to PEOPLE on Monday, saying, “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.” They added, “There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”

A source close to the couple previously told PEOPLE the pair tried to make things work after “growing apart” over the past year.

“They really wanted to make their marriage work,” said the insider. “But neither of them are people who will stay in something that isn’t fully right.”

The former couple have been spotted out and about in Los Angeles since making their split official on Monday.

Tatum was seen on a Target trip on Wednesday with their 4-year-old daughter Everly sweetly riding on his shoulders while they exited the store. The 21 Jump Street star was still wearing his wedding ring for the trip.

Dewan has also kept up her normal active routine, seen leaving a SoulCycle in West Hollywood on Tuesday, a day after announcing the split. And just hours before the couple exclusively shared the announcement of their separation with PEOPLE, Dewan attended a morning yoga class with her silver band noticeably on her left ring finger.
