We’ve seen the green hair, but new images show Jared Leto in full costume (and tattoos!) for the first time as the Joker while filming Suicide Squad in Toronto.

Leto, 43, is pictured with pale skin, red lips, dark eyes and covered with tattoos standing next to costar Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn, the Joker’s villainous love interest.

In the scene Leto stops his car right before hitting Margot’s character, which turns into a heated argument and then a steamy kiss between the duo. She then shoots a trucker with a crow bar and turns the gun on the Joker who takes the gun and slaps her to the ground.

Fittingly, the Joker was driving a custom pink sports car with the license plate “HAHAHA.”

Director David Ayer shared a photo of the cast in costumes earlier this month, leaving out Leto.

The film, anticipated for August 2016, also stars Will Smith and Cara Delevingne.
