Amber Heard is spending time with an old flame.

Heard, 30, stepped out with her ex-boyfriend, country singer Mark Wystrach, on Tuesday night. The two were spotted leaving a restaurant together in Los Angeles.

The actress was all smiles as she chatted with Wystrach outside the restaurant before giving him a hug as she got into her car to leave.

Heard kept her look simple for the night out, wearing a pair of black jeans paired with a white T-shirt and matching jacket. Wystrach also looked casual in a pair of blue jeans with a yellow shirt and brown leather jacket.

Heard and Wystrach previously dated for roughly a year before calling it quits in 2007.

Wystrach, 36, is the lead singer of the country band Midland, who were just named one of the top 10 country artists to watch by Rolling Stone.

The outing comes just one day after news that Heard and Johnny Depp are just days away from finalizing their divorce.

“The settlement documents are being finalized and will be signed this week,” Heard’s attorney, Pierce O’Donnell, told PEOPLE in a statement.

Heard was awarded $7 million in the settlement this past summer, and announced she would donate all of the money to her two favorite charities — the American Civil Liberties Union, with a focus on battling violence against women, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she has volunteered for 10 years.

But the exes have been at odds over which of them would give the money to charity.

A rep for Depp previously announced that he would make payments directly to the Children’s Hospital and ACLU on Heard’s behalf. A member of Heard’s team rejected Depp’s payment plan.

“Johnny is obligated by the settlement to pay Amber, and she in turn will honor her pledges to Children’s Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union,” says O’Donnell.
