There were no evening gowns (that we know of) in Gwyneth Paltrow‘s home Monday evening.

The actress, 42, posted a photo on Instagram on Tuesday showing what was she was up to at her house while the rest of the celebrity universe was at this year’s Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Paltrow shared a picture of her 10-year-old daughter looking comfy in a blue onesie and a pair of monster feet slippers on Tuesday with the caption, “This was the red carpet in my house last night.”

This is the second year in a row that the Oscar winner didn’t attend the annual ball.

After the 2013 fashion-filled bash, hosted by Vogue‘s Anna Wintour, the Goop entrepreneur admitted in a chat with USA Today that she wasn’t the biggest fan of the event.

“I’m never going again. It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all,” Paltrow said at the time.
