The Bond Effect: Gwyneth Paltrow Admits She's 'Nervous' to See Pal Daniel Craig
It turns out even Gwyneth Paltrow is intimidated by James Bond
Daniel Craig is kind of a big deal.
After portraying one of the world’s most famous spies, Craig quickly earned a following of devoted fans and became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable leading men. And it turns out even Gwyneth Paltrow can’t help but feel a little intimated by him.
Paltrow, 42, took to Instagram to praise her longtime friend’s success as the notorious James Bond.
“If you’re friends with someone before they become James Bond, and then they become James Bond and you’re nervous to see them at a party because they are now James Bond, is that weird?” she captions the picture of them chatting at an outdoor soirée.
The two have been friends since filming Sylvia in 2003, before Craig, 47, signed on to the James Bond franchise in 2006 with Casino Royal.
Craig’s latest portrayal as the British secret service agent, also known as 007, hits theaters in Novemeber in the upcoming movie Spectre.
