It looks remarkably like the original, complete with backpack-size particle accelerator

The Ghostbusters girls are going to come out with guns blazing!

Paul Feig, director of the all-female reboot of the ’80s classic, on Tuesday unveiled the ghost-fighting weaponry – technically called a proton pack – that our heroines will use to capture ghosts.

Feig captioned the photo on Twitter with the hashtag #whatyougonnashoot.

This follows Monday’s introduction of the jumpsuits that the characters will wear.

Proton packs are fabulously complicated machines, but they work great at subduing the supernatural. But of course, there is one important thing to bear in mind. Don’t cross the streams. That would be bad.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are the stars of the upcoming film.
