FIRST LOOK: Rachel McAdams Handcuffs Robert Downey Jr. to a Bed

Her character outwits Sherlock Holmes in a scene from the film, out in December

Out to prove Sherlock Holmes’s “depravity knows no bounds,” Robert Downey Jr. shows off his fighting form and flippant charm in the first official trailer for the Guy Ritchie-directed film.

In the supernatural thriller, Holmes fights a Satanist with the help of his partner Watson, played by Jude Law, and is outwitted and left in handcuffs by a tightly corseted Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler.
