Felicity Jones could be heading to a galaxy far, far away.

The Best Actress Oscar nominee is in talks to star in a standalone Star Wars film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) is set to direct the movie, while Chris Weitz was hired just last week to write the script. The About a Boy scribe replaces Gary Whitta, who penned the first draft.

There is no word on the character Jones would play or even what the mysterious spinoff is about, though it does have a release date: Dec. 16, 2016.

Disney is currently developing two spinoff films. The first one is said to focus on a young Han Solo, while the second is an adventure movie with fan favorite Boba Fett at the center, EW reports.

Jones, 31, recently earned an Oscar nod for her turn as physicist Stephen Hawking’s first wife Jane in The Theory of Everything.

Disney hasn’t commented on the project.
