Ellen Page is the first to admit she’s not exactly handy around the house.

“I’m horrible at all things like that,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “I basically have no skills to offer on any level.”

Page, 29, insists her girlfriend, artist Samantha Thomas, whom she began dating last year, “is definitely more of the DIY-er. She’s pretty much good at all things,” the actress adds. “I just stand there and ‘supervise.’ ”

Currently starring alongside Evan Rachel Wood in the post-apocalyptic thriller, Into the Forest, about two sisters who must fight for survival following a worldwide blackout, Page also revealed her vice of choice. “Tequila,” she says, laughing. “I like it on ice, which to some people is not the way to drink it, but I like it with some lime. Enjoyed responsibly of course.”

Into the Forest is now playing in theaters.
