Drew Barrymore has returned to social media just days after announcing her split from husband Will Kopelman.

The actress, 41, took to Instagram to express her gratitude following an interview that was conducted over the weekend at the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival, where she helped debut Barrymore Wines’ new rosé.

“Thank you @popsugar – my dear old fiends and girls club of all things food-beauty-love and fun!” she wrote, as she expressed her gratitude for the interview. “It goes above a discussion about wine and becomes something truly thoughtful.”

In the photo, Barrymore is seen smiling as she sits as a table with a glass of wine and several bottles in front of her – but with her left hand hidden behind a bottle of wine.

During the interview, Barrymore never directly referenced the split, but said she leaned on her friends for advice during a “really hard time.”

“I had a really hard time a couple of months ago and kind of knew life was heading in a new direction,” the actress told the website. “I called someone that I really trust, respect, and believe in, because he has always been the conductor of grace. I said, ‘What’s your advice?’ And he said, ‘You put one foot in front of the other.’ I hung up the phone and I thought, ‘That is why I call this person.’ ”

And according to a source, despite her personal challenges, the actress appeared sunny and upbeat at the food-and-wine festival.

“She seemed truly happy to be there with all the other food and wine lovers,” the source tells PEOPLE. “I don’t think I saw her turn down a single photo with a fan the entire time.”

Barrymore and Kopelman officially announced their plans to divorce on Saturday after nearly four years of marriage.

“Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family,” the pair said exclusively in a statement to PEOPLE. “Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.”

The ex-couple share two children – Olive, 3, and Frankie, 1.
