The Dick Van Dyke Show star recently surprised fans at a Denny’s in Santa Monica, California, when his a cappella group, Dick Van Dyke and the Vantastix, burst into an impromptu version of the classic tune “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” from the film of the same name. With his famous voice and his signature smile, the iconic entertainer brought all the feels, and the footage shows that clearly most of the lucky customers at Denny’s couldn’t resist documenting the joyous moment. Earlier this year, the 90-year-old surprised fans when he led a sing-along outside Walt Disney‘s childhood home. Singing a rendition of the Mary Poppins classic “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” Van Dyke proved to be every bit as timeless as ever, making fans and newbies alike all smile a little brighter.
