Debbie Reynolds Shares Adorable Vintage Picture of Baby Carrie Fisher For Her Birthday
Debbie Reynolds celebrated daughter Carrie Fisher‘s 59th birthday by throwing it back to the pair’s early years in Hollywood with a sweet vintage snapshot.
The Singin’ in the Rain star, 83, posted a portrait with baby Fisher to her Facebook on Wednesday. In the image, the Star Wars actress wears a light pink dress – matching Reynolds’ own striped pale top.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter,” Reynolds wrote.
Fisher, who emulated her mother’s big screen success with her own career, was born to Reynolds and her then-husband, singer Eddie Fisher, in 1956.
The pair reunited on stage when the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer star received the SAG Life Achievement Award earlier this year. Fisher presented her mother with the enviable recognition.

The showbiz bug didn’t end with Fisher, who’s reprising her iconic role as Princess Leia in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens – the star’s own daughter is an actress, as well.
Lourd is also set to share the screen with her mother in the sci-fi franchise’s new installment.
