The Spectre star is totally game for the One Direction crooner to be his successor in the iconic film franchise. Craig told U.K. radio station Capital FM that “good man” Horan would be “absolutely fabulous” as the superspy after discovering the Irishman had interest in the role. When asked by the radio station if Horan would be a good fit for Bond’s suit, Craig replied, “He would.” The actor even had some advice for the 22-year-old – “just enjoy it and make it the best you can.” “That’s all I’ve ever tried to do with these films is just make the movies as memorable as possible,” he said. “Should I make another one or not make another one I’m proud of the four I’ve made.” Back in 2013, around the release of Craig’s last Bond film, Skyfall, Horan expressed his interest in the role. “Watchin skyfall ! I reckon im the next bond ! Dont mess with me, i just started growin a little chin hair,” he tweeted. With One Direction about to take an extended hiatus, the singer would definitely have time to bulk up for the next film installment! He told the BBC he’s yet to make a decision, but said his successor has to be top-notch should he decide to leave. “It’s just as long as they’re good. That’s the only thing that matters.”
