The casting continues: Christopher Plummer will join newcomer Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig in the Hollywood adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, already shooting in Sweden.

Perhaps best known for his role as Captain Georg von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Plummer, 80, will play Dragon‘s Henrik Vanger, a retired CEO who hires Craig’s character, Mikael Blomkvist, to find his missing niece, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed.
