Following a divorce last fall after only two months of marriage, former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan is slowly edging back into the dating market. While he may not be seeing anyone special just yet, that doesn’t mean he’s not looking!

“I wish I was dating one of the ladies in Bollywood Hero,” the comedian told PEOPLE at the mini-series’ premiere earlier this week at The Rubin Museum of Arts in New York City. “They’re gorgeous. Any of them.”

The actor – who stars in the three-part comedic mini-series premiering Thursday, Aug. 6 on IFC – has kept a low profile since his divorce from model Sunshine Tutt. The couple wed on June 28, 2008, and separated on August 10 of the same year, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Since then, Kattan has been working on several projects, including Bollywood Hero, which also stars his former SNL costar Maya Rudolph and Keanu Reeves. The mini-series documents an aspiring young actor’s (Kattan) quest to achieve fame in Mumbai’s thriving Bollywood film scene. The series will be shown in three parts, airing from Aug. 6 through Aug. 8.

Kattan is also costarring in an upcoming ABC comedy The Middle. As the actor puts it, “All this good luck came after being in India [while shooting Bollywood Hero]. It’s very cool.”
