There are definitely a few perks that come with being Thor.

Chris Hemsworth took to social media this week to announce that filming for Thor: Ragnarok had officially begun – and to show off one huge advantage to playing the hammer-wielding superhero.

“Here we are shooting for Thor 3 at the studios,” Hemsworth, 32, said in an Instagram video as he walked around the film set in his native Australia.

“Got my shake, got my shoes, and as request, got my rollercoaster,” Hemsworth joked as he pointed to the giant theme park ride in the background. “That’s just a little something on the perks list that comes with being Thor.”

The actor looked casual for his first day of filming, simply wearing a pair of gym shorts and a hoodie.

And what would be Thor without his trusty hammer? Fans can rest easy knowing that the hero’s iconic Mjolnir will make a return in the third film – though it may look a bit different.

“#Thor3 Expect big and little changes,” Hemsworth captioned a photo of a rusty yellow hammer that looks to be straight out of an old tool box.

While details of the plot for Thor: Ragnarok are still unknown, the film is slated to hit theaters Nov. 3, 2017.
