Carrie Fisher is giving some Yoda-like advice to new Star Wars heroine Daisy Ridley: stay away from gold bikinis!

The Princess Leia actress interviewed the British newcomer, 23, for Interview Magazine’s Nov. issue, and asked if she’s prepared to enter the fantasies of millions of fans after Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters.

“No, they always talk about how you re a sex symbol, and how do I feel about that,” Ridley answered, adding, “I m not a sex symbol!”

“Listen! I am not a sex symbol, so that s an opinion of someone. I don t share that,” Fisher said.

Princess Leia’s metal bikini became a pop culture phenomenon after Fisher wore the outfit in 1983’s Return of the Jedi, in a scene in which her character is held as Jabba the Hutt’s slave.

“You should fight for your outfit,” she warned Ridley. “Don t be a slave like I was.”

Fisher also talked to the young actress about how she’s preparing herself to go from a virtual unknown to the star of one of the biggest film franchises of all time.

Ridley says she gets asked this question a lot but still isn’t sure how to brace herself. “I don t know if I can prepare for what s to come because I don t know what will.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be with theaters Dec.18.
