Despite the roster of attractive men Cameron Diaz has dated in the past, she says she only has eyes for hubby Benji Madden.

“Nothing matters now that I have my husband,” the 43-year-old told Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM Radio show, which airs Friday at 8 a.m. ET. “I don’t even remember any of that. Like that’s the thing, that’s how I know he’s my husband because no one compares.”

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony in their living room in January 2015 after being engaged for nearly three months.

Diaz says people would always tell her “you just know when you know” about finding your perfect match and that was the case for her with Madden: “I was always like, ‘What does that mean what does that mean?’ Then I was like ‘Oh, I get it, you just know when you know, like you’re my husband.”

And according to Diaz, she knew right away.

The actress, who was on a press tour promoting her new book Longevity, told Cohen that Madden caught her eye not once, but twice.

Are Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Getting Ready for a Baby?

“The first thing I saw when I first met my husband, I was like he’s hot!” she said. “We had just never been in the same circle, then I saw him like a year later, I saw him again, and I was like wait a second, still hot.”

Diaz says her pals Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden (Benji’s twin) introduced the couple at a barbecue at her house.

“Joel said ‘Hey, can my brother come over?’ And I said, ‘Of course, it’s family, we’re having a barbecue’ and then he walked in the door and I was like you! You!”

Now that the couple is happily married, Diaz says, “Everything else just kind of like washes and slips away.”

“You realize like, ‘Oh right, this is what the real thing is, this is what real love is and this is what commitment and devotion is,’ ” she says. “This is the person that you build your life with, and for me, it’s like the rest of everything else just kind of like dissolves.”
