Bradley Cooper and girlfriend Irina Shayk are keeping their romance alive.

A source tells PEOPLE that the couple enjoyed a “candlelit, romantic dinner” at Giorgio Baldi, an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, on Thursday night. The Oscar-nominated actor and director, 44, and the model, 33, shared multiple dishes, including pasta and salad.

“They looked very happy together,” the insider adds. “They chatted, flirted and had a great time.”

The outing comes one month after Cooper and Shayk, who welcomed daughter Lea De Seine in March 2017, stepped out for lunch in New York City on March 19.

Shayk spoke with Glamour UK about why she remains so private about her romantic life with Cooper.

“I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it’s great – but I think it’s all about personal choice,” she told the magazine in its February issue. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”

While rumors swirled about a possible romance with his A Star Is Born costar Lady Gaga after their steamy Oscars performance of “Shallow,” the pop star set the record straight during a Feb. 27 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“[Shallow] is a love song, A Star Is Born is a love story,” Gaga, 33, explained. “It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time… When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”

Gaga continued to call their intimacy on stage all part of an act. “I’m an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job… fooled ya!” the “Million Reasons” singer added.
