Bradley Cooper Has Been ‘All About Family’ After Steamy Oscars Performance with Lady Gaga
Bradley Cooper has been focusing on his family with girlfriend Irina Shayk
Bradley Cooper is leaning into a quieter life after wrapping up awards season earlier this year.
Cooper, who was nominated for dozens of awards thanks to hit movie A Star Is Born, has been focusing on his family in the months since the 2019 Oscars. A source tells PEOPLE that Cooper, 44, is spending most of his time with girlfriend Irina Shayk, 33, and their 2-year-old daughter Lea.
“Since the awards season ended, Bradley spends every day with his family,” the source says. “Most days, Bradley and Irina take Lea out for activities together. Sometimes they just stroll on the beach. Bradley and Irina seem great.”
Adds the source, “It seems Bradley hasn’t spent any time with Lady Gaga. He has been all about his family.”
Cooper and his A Star Is Born costar Lady Gaga, 32, got close while filming the movie, and fans went wild when they performed a stripped-down and intimate version of their hit song “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars. But the Grammy winner quickly dispelled romance rumors during a post-Oscars appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” the actress-singer, 32, told Kimmel after the performance.

Cooper and Shayk rarely speak about their relationship, but the actor took a moment to thank her and their daughter during his SuperSoul Converstation with Oprah Winfrey ahead of the Oscars.
“[Having a family has] changed everything. Our daughter, she’s incredible. And I see my father in her quite often,” he said. “I can’t believe I’m gonna admit this, but I had moments when … I was in the room with her, I would say, ‘Dad?’ There are some moments where she looks just like my father. I watch too many movies.”
He also talked about how his life has changed since having a family of his own. Said Cooper, “[It] has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present.”
