The 70-year-old comedian appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden Tuesday night and recreated the infamous diner scene from the 1989 film with the talk show host — but with a bit of a twist. “I mean don’t get me wrong, Billy, I love hosting a talk show, I do, I do, it’s just it can be tough sometimes, you know?” Corden said, channeling Meg Ryan‘s Sally. “Some guests, frankly, they think they’re way more interesting than they actually are.” Crystal replied, “Well, listen, I’ve been doing this my whole life. You don’t have to worry about me, talk show hosts love having me on as a guest.” The 40-year-old host asked, “How do you know?” “What are you saying? That they fake enthusiasm?” Crystal said. You do the math,” Corden said. To prove his point, he began laughing softly as though Crystal had shared a particularly hilarious joke.
