Ben Affleck spent Thanksgiving with his family in Los Angeles, a source tells PEOPLE.
The 45-year-old actor celebrated the holiday with ex Jennifer Garner, 45, and their three kids — Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8 and Samuel, 5. The Argo star later took his daughters to see the hit musical Hamilton on Sunday as they continued the festivities.
He was also spotted grabbing coffee with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, 37, on Saturday, but his new love didn’t join in on the family celebration Thursday, a source tells PEOPLE.
“My mom’s coming out, and I think my brother will come over. We’ll go down the street and see Matt’s family. Thanksgiving’s a nice holiday,” he said. “I just assume when we go to Matt’s, he’s already cooked something!”

Affleck and Garner separated in 2015 and filed for divorce this April.
Garner recently opened up to reporters about life after separation from Affleck, saying she “would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids. I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through.”
The Justice League star, who has been open about his struggle with alcohol abuse, leaned on others, including Garner, after suffering a relapse in September, sources previously told PEOPLE. While he has “had a rough year” personally and professionally, the family source said “at the moment, he is doing great. He seems more honest with himself.”
Both actors have been busy promoting their latest film projects lately. Affleck just wrapped up a world tour for Justice League while Garner has hit several premieres and screenings for her drama the Tribes of Palos Verdes.
