Ben Affleck Says His Massive Back Tattoo is 'Fake For a Movie'
Affleck does have a few real ones, but the back piece is not one
“[It’s] fake for a movie,” Affleck, 43, told Extra’s Mario Lopez. “I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.”
The back piece, which is a full color picture of a phoenix taking flight, takes up Affleck’s back completely.
His onscreen foe Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, happens to be the exact opposite, revealing to Lopez that he has no tattoos, not because of any backlash he might receive, but just because he doesn’t want them.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25.
