Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were seen sporting wedding bands more than a week since announcing their split after 10 years of marriage. The actor, 42, was photographed in Atlanta on Thursday, ring on his hand, as he spent the day with daughter Violet visiting museums in the area. The father-daughter duo first stopped by the Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum but learned it was closed. They then visited the Center for Civil and Human Rights, where Affleck posed with fans outside the building. The dad of three flew to Atlanta on Tuesday to rejoin Garner and kids (Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3) after a quick visit home to the ex-couple’s Los Angeles residence, where they will both continue living for the time being. (He made a Starbucks run ringless in L.A. over the weekend.) Garner, 43, returned to work in the Georgia city to film Miracles from Heaven, taking a break yesterday to join a friend for lunch at a country club. On Monday, she was spotted on set also wearing her ring. During his stay, Affleck has been residing in the guest house of a property Garner is renting while she shoots her new movie, according to a source. The Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice star is expected to make the trip to San Diego to promote the upcoming superhero film at Comic-Con on Saturday. “He is committed to his family. He wants to be with his kids,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. “It’s important. He wants them to be stable.” Affleck has other work to return to, including his humanitarian efforts with the Eastern Congo Intiative, which he founded in 2010. The activist posted a photo Thursday with Congolese professional basketball player Bismack Biyombo on Instagram to thank the athlete for joining his organization’s advisory board. His next directorial effort is also on the horizon. Affleck is set to helm Live by Night – based on Dennis Lehane’s Prohibition-era crime novel – after the movie received an official greenlight by Warner Bros.
