Rogue One: Recon places you in the pilot seat of a Rebellion X-wing fighter. With only your R2 unit and wingman at your side, you dodge enemy fire and get up close to the Death Star.

“The team at Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB developed Rogue One: Recon 360 as a way to showcase what’s possible with 360-degree video and to get fans excited about the upcoming release of the film,” says Kristin Rooney, executive director of Partnerships & Social Media at Verizon. “You’re able to look around and truly dive into the Star Wars universe.”

Check out the 360° video above, explorable by clicking and dragging your mouse across the screen. For a fully immersive virtual-reality experience using VR goggles, download the LIFE VR app for iOS and Android or visit time.com/lifevr. (Don’t have goggles? They’re included in PEOPLE’s new special issue, Star Wars: The Secrets of Rogue One, at newsstands now! Click here for an easy guide on how to assemble them.) The experience is also available in Verizon stores across the nation with Samsung Gear VR headsets.
