Steve Carell and Emma Stone are ready to battle it out in the first official photo from their upcoming tennis biopic together.

The Crazy, Stupid, Love costars are reuniting for Battle of the Sexes, a movie about the legendary 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.

The newly released photo shows Stone as King and Carell as Riggs at the 1973 press conference where the tennis players announced their man vs. woman match. At the time, King was the number one player in the world and Riggs had been retired for several years.

The match between King and Riggs is remembered because it started a conversation about gender equality. In the end King defeated Riggs, and their match became the most watched television sports event of all time.

Per a press release announcing the movie has begun principal photography: “King and Riggs were on opposites sides of a binary argument, but off-court each was fighting more personal and complex battles. With a supportive husband urging he to fight the Establishment for equal pay, the fiercely private king was also struggling to come to terms with her own sexuality, while Riggs gambled his legacy and reputation in a bid to relieve the glories of his past.”

Directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine), the movie also stars Elisabeth Shue, Sarah Silverman, Alan Cumming, Andrea Risenborough, Eric Christian Olsen, and Natalie Morales.
