The director posted a video tease to announce the special screenings to his Twitter on Wednesday

Good news, superhero fans! It looks like you may not have to wait very long to get a sneak peek at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Director Zack Snyder, 49, took to Twitter on Wednesday to tease special screening events of the superhero movie, happening April 20, with a quick 20-second clip – complete with dramatic music and glances at the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader in full hero garb.

Any details about the next installment of the superhero saga have been mostly kept under wraps, but Snyder revealed that fans might not have to wait until the official premiere in March 2016.

“Confirmed 4.20.15 #BatmanvSuperman @IMAX special teaser screening events. Limited space. RSVP,” Synder Tweeted alongside the snippet.

The Batman v Superman IMAX event will debut the official trailer with a 15-minute video of footage from the Man of Steel sequel. It will also feature an introduction from Snyder, according to Variety.

Up until now, devotees of the comic book franchise have been limited to still images of the film’s stars in costume. DC Comics surprised fans with a close-up shot of Batman’s Ben Affleck, 42, in his mask at San Diego Comic-Con in July, along with a first look at Henry Cavill, 31, back in his bicep-bulging Superman suit.

Snyder also Tweeted out a preview of Game of Thrones‘ Jason Momoa, 35, who played Khal Drogo, all done up as fish whisperer Aquaman in February.

Also appearing in the film is 29-year-old Israeli actress Gal Gadot who will play Wonder Woman. Amy Adams, 40, also returns to reprise her role as Lois Lane and The Social Network‘s Jessie Eisenberg, 31, will play villain Lex Luthor.
