In real-life, Robert Downey Jr. doesn’t possess superhuman strength, genius intellect or that famed power suit.

But Iron Man, his on-screen Avengers alter-ego gifted with his body, brains and superhero wardrobe, isn’t lacking – and fans of the franchise agree.

According to data collected on the movie’s Facebook page, 37 percent of fans polled would most like to be Iron Man (identity: Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark) if they could transform into any Marvel superhero.

Runner-up: Captain America (played by Chris Evans), who earned 19 percent of the votes, followed by Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth), in close third at 17 percent. Scarlett Johansson‘s body-suit sporting Black Widow received 13 percent of the vote, and, in last place, 11 percent said they wish they could bulk up into the Incredible Hulk like Mark Ruffalo.

The film, which arrives in theaters May 4, is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And for die-hard fans, a movie marathon might not be enough – 41 percent of those polled on Facebook said they planned to see the movie more than twice.
