Brie Larson's 'New Girl' Captain Marvel Rubs the Avengers the Wrong Way in New Endgame Clip
Looks like the new girl isn’t fitting in just yet.
A new clip from Avengers: Endgame introduces Brie Larson‘s Captain Marvel to the rest of the surviving Avengers, and it’s not exactly smooth sailing.
When Scarlett Johansson‘s Natasha Romanoff sees that Infinity War bad guy Thanos (Josh Brolin) used the population-vanishing stones again, Larson’s Carol Danvers is ready to go after him.
“Even if there’s a small chance we can undo this, we owe it to everyone who’s not in this room to try,” Johansson agrees, while Mark Ruffalo‘s Bruce Banner strongly objects.
“If we do this, how do we know it’s gonna end any differently than it did before?” Ruffalo asks.
“Because before you didn’t have me,” Larson confidently answers.

“Hey new girl, everybody in this room is about that superhero life,” Don Cheadle‘s James Rhodes counters. “And if you don’t mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?”
“There are a lot of other planets in this universe, and unfortunately they didn’t have you guys,” Larson responds, with Chris Evans‘ Steve Rogers seemingly agreeing with a smile.
But the argument is settled when Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor tries to intimidate the new member of the group by making his magic hammer fly right past her face. Larson doesn’t even flinch.
“I like this one,” Hemsworth says while staring Larson down.
The tense scene ends with Evans rousing the group together.
“Let’s go get this son of a bitch,” he says, a far departure from the Captain America that always warned about foul language.
The upcoming Marvel epic follows the remaining Avengers as they try to reverse the outcome of last year’s Infinity War when Thanos snapped away half the world’s population.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26.
