Just a few more days, Avengers fans!

To celebrate the upcoming premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron, PEOPLE has another exclusive look behind the scenes of the superhero sequel, in which Scarlett Johansson gives fans a little insight into the complicated relationship between Black Widow and the Hulk.

“We all get our opportunities to delve into these characters,” the actress, who plays Black Widow, says in the clip.

And her character and the Hulk see a major shift in their bond, she explains.

“They both have pasts that they’re not really able to face,” Johansson, 30, says. “They’ve been in the game for a long time and I think they really long for the connection.”

Mark Ruffalo, 47, who reprises his role as the raging green giant, also says in the featurette that when the couple connect “there’s this sort of taming of Hulk.”

The second chapter in the Avengers adventure follows the superhuman group as they fight to save the world from an artificial intelligence called Ultron that has gone rogue. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth also return for the sequel.

“We get to get further into the heads of all the Avengers and see a lot of new loyalties and friendships,” director Joss Whedon says in the clip.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters Friday.
