Anna Faris Has an Idea for a House Bunny Sequel: 'I Have a Fantasy of' Bringing 'Shelley Back'
Anna Faris would be up for a House Bunny sequel someday — and she knows what her character is up to
Anna Faris knows exactly what her House Bunny character would be doing now.
Faris appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday when she answered a viewer question about the hit 2008 movie.
The movie starred Faris as a Playboy bunny who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion when she is deemed too old to be a model. After leaving the mansion, she joins a college sorority as its house mom, teaching a group of geeky, awkward girls how to gain confidence and live their best lives. Emma Stone, Kat Dennings, Katherine McPhee and Rumer Willis starred as the sorority sisters that Faris’ Shelley helps.
“I loved that movie and it’s very dear to my heart,” Faris told the viewer. “There’s a lot of love in that movie. I love it that people still appreciate it. I have a fantasy of, I don’t know, bringing Shelley back as country singer.”
Some of the stars of the movie commemorated its tenth anniversary last August with sweet Instagram posts. McPhee remembered her time on the movie by posting a picture of her, Willis, Stone and Faris at the MTV Movie Awards in 2008.
McPhee called the movie “ICONIC, if I do say so myself” in her Instagram post, adding, “Today marks the 10 year anniversary of The House Bunny.” She also added the hashtag “#WhereMyZetasAt,” in reference to the fictional sorority featured in the film.
Faris also thanked fans for the love on Instagram with a picture of herself in a bikini at the Playboy mansion.
“Ten years ago- I couldn’t believe I was wandering around the Playboy Mansion wearing this – I love you guys and thank you for your love,” Faris captioned the post.
