Another day, another kiss for Andrew Garfield.

The Hacksaw Ridge actor, 33, stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, where he opened up about his passionate kiss with Ryan Reynolds at the Golden Globes.

“What was going on there?” the Colbert asked about the bromantic moment.

“I just wanted Ryan to know that I loved him no matter whether he won or lost,” said Garfield of the moment Reynolds lost out on the best actor award to Ryan Gosling.

“It doesn’t matter,” he continued. “He showed up. It doesn’t change anything in my heart.”

In fact, Garfield revealed that he is “totally comfortable” kissing men, and he was willing to put his money where his mouth is — literally.

The actor gave Colbert not one, but two sweet smooches during the show.

“It’s getting hot in here!” Colbert captioned a tweet with a photo of the kiss.

Following the show, Garfield’s ex Emma Stone reacted with surprise and delight to the hilarious kiss.

“They did not kiss each other,” Stone reacted in disbelief. “They did?”

Garfield also discussed the kiss on Live with Kelly on Wednesday, where he confirmed the smooch did involve tongue. “It’s not a real kiss if it’s not slightly french,” he said.

He gave more details on the backstory as well, explaining how he and Reynolds — and Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively — came up with the plan.
“I sat next to him and said, ‘If you win, I think we should kiss.’ And he of course was so game and up for it. And his wife Blake was up for it as well — she thought it was hilarious,” said Garfield.
“Ryan was like, ‘Okay, so if I win, I’m going to turn to my wife, and then last minute I’m going to turn to  you.’ So we were both very very excited by the possibility,” he continued.
“And then he didn’t win — I was most disappointed that I wasn’t going to get to kiss him. So I said to him, ‘Win or lose, we can both just do it.’ Cause there was a camera on us — there was camera on Ryan for his response to the other Ryan winning. And we thought the camera could cut to that and it would be a funny little thing,” he added.
