Allison Janney and Her Handsome (and 'Supportive'!) Boyfriend Heat Up Sundance

Allison Janney‘s romance kept things sizzling despite the chilly weather at Utah’s Sundance Film Festival.

Janney, 56, and her boyfriend, Philip Joncas, 36, were all smiles as they attended the screening of the actress’ new movie, Tallulah, together at Park City’s Eccles Theatre, and posed in matching leather (Janney’s pants and Joncas’ jacket).

“He was beaming with pride after the premiere screening of Tallulah,” a source tells PEOPLE. “He was so supportive of both Allison and the entire cast.”

They continued to celebrate at the Tallulah Cocktail Party Hosted by SteelHouse.

“They walked in arm-in-arm and he couldn’t stop smiling when he looked at her,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

The couple first made waves at the Emmy Awards last September, when Janney planted a smooch on Joncas after winning best supporting actress in a comedy for Mom.

The Massachusetts native also works in the entertainment industry and collaborated with Janney as early as 2012 when he served as a production coordinator on her movie The Way Way Back.

The Mom star, who has never been married, told E! News that the couple have been together for “about a year” and couldn’t help but gush that Joncas was “pretty handsome.”
