Salma Hayek and Alec Baldwin star as a couple scheming for money in the hilarious Drunk Parents
In a PEOPLE exclusive trailer of Drunk Parents, Hayek, 52, and Baldwin, 60, star as Nancy and Frank Teagarten, an upper-class couple bidding their only child goodbye as she sets off to college.
The catch? The couple is deeply in debt and avoiding a repo man.
Through a series of elaborate neighborhood schemes, the two set out to make ends meet and maintain their wealth by deciding to sell items from a neighbor’s home and renting his mansion out.
“Have you lost your mind?” Nancy says. “You’re supposed to be looking out for his property. What’s next? Renting it out?”
As Frank considers his neighbors home, he looks onboard with the idea even as he says, “Rent out his house? That’s insane.”
That plan goes wrong when the renter they find, played by Jim Gaffigan, turns out to be problematic.
“As a new neighbor, I’m “legally required” to tell you that I’m a registered sex offender,” Gaffigan’s character says.
Shocked, Frank replies, “Come again?”
The film also stars Joe Manganiello, Ben Platt and Michelle Veintimilla.
Drunk Parents is in theaters April 19 and exclusively available on DIRECTV on March 21.
