The Morning Show, which follows news anchors at fictional station UBA as they navigate their personal and professional lives, has been a hit on AppleTV+ since it premiered in 2019. When Aniston’s character Alex began a secret relationship with Paul, fans of the show were left wondering how their love story would play into the potential downfall of UBA. The series has been known to take inspiration from real-life incidents, such as the aftermath of the Insurrection. Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt told The Hollywood Reporter recently that the consequences of their actions in season 3 will also be present "in every sense and for every character” in season 4.
