A Canadian woman visiting her local grocery store left with something both unexpected and special after she gave birth to a baby boy in the supermarket.

Ashleigh Miller-Cross gave birth to son Ezra at the Bayers Lake Atlantic Superstore in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada according to ABC 7.

Miller-Cross, who gave birth to her daughter 10 months prior, had no idea she was pregnant. She was helped by the store’s assistant manager, who located a doctor from the store’s medical clinic.

She told ABC News she had no reason to suspect she was pregnant again as she didn’t gain additional weight.

“I didn’t know I was pregnant and ended up giving birth in the Atlantic superstore bathroom,” Miller-Cross told the outlet.

The store gave the family a year’s worth of free diapers.

Jen Matchett of Branches Photography heard about the story on Facebook and decided to donate her services, ABC News reported.

“A local news story popped up on my feed. Then the next day I saw a relative of theirs, on a community group looking for donations for the family, who was obviously not expecting another baby,” she said.

She added, “I knew they wouldn’t have been saving for something like that. My photographer brain was already envisioning the grocery basket shot, it just came to me and I had to make it happen.”
