A devoted son’s unforgettable trip with his mother continues.

Carla Brooks, 77, felt lost and alone when her husband Karl died last year, but her son Barton was determined to change that.

So, Barton and his partner, Gregg, booked three one-way tickets to Europe with the intention of seeing famous sites, sampling local foods and experiencing unique cultures.

So far the traveling crew has visited Prague, Budapest, Paris, London and various cities in Switzerland and Wales.

And their latest adventure took them to Germany!

With suggestions from PEOPLE readers, Barton, Gregg and Carla toured Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria and heard the Rathaus-Glockenspiel chime in Munich.

The trio are headed to the historical Alsace region next, and they’d love some tips on local musts.

Please leave them suggestions in the comments below (they can’t wait to hear from you!). We’ll post a new episode of “Carla’s Comeback” every Wednesday, so be sure to follow all 20 of their adventures here!
