A bright Harvest Moon shined in the sky after sunset on Monday, Sept. 20, casting light that farmers have relied on to reap their summer crops for eons.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, it was fullest around 7:54 p.m. EDT, and like this photo at the Statue of Liberty goes to show, quite a sight.

Don't moon if you missed it, however. The full moon will be visible until Wednesday morning, NASA reports.
