The music mogul was joined by girlfriend Cassie, pal Brandy and her brother Ray J, who all shared a table together and “everyone was having a great time,” a guest says. “There was a lot of dancing.” Diddy also got into the deejay booth and played Ray J’s “Sexy Can I” while his friends jumped up and started grooving. Also there: Diddy’s ex Kim Porter, who came to lend her support. • Pete and Ashlee Simpson Wentz took son Bronx Mowgli for a fun day at the San Diego Zoo. Earlier, Wentz was a keynote speaker at the Billboard’s Mobile Entertainment Live! Fall 2009 Conference, so the family checked into the Se San Diego hotel, where they rented two condos and spent a “quiet evening” together, a source tells us. • He may have been trying to relax with friends, but Josh Duhamel didn’t turn away his fans while drinking some beers with four friends at Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood. “Josh was so friendly and nice when we passed him at Tin Lizzy s,” says an eyewitness. “Back inside, there were tons of girls going up to his table and asking if he would have his photo taken with them. He was very polite and agreed.” • Renée Zellweger made a Starbucks run before zipping into the Miu Miu runway show as part of Paris Fashion Week. The black-clad actress took her caffeine to-go, then joined Kate Moss and others at the show. • John Mayer, enjoying dinner with a male companion on the patio of West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont just across from Gerard Butler. Though they were sitting close, the guys didn’t make contact, preferring instead to stay close to their dinner companions.
