Rob Lowe may be one of Hollywood’s most timeless hunks, but his handy man skills have nothing to do with it.

The Parks and Recreation star, 53, faced off with host Busy Philipps, 37, in the latest edition of the Michaels “Make-Off.” The pair, both parents, were challenged with building a middle school diorama project, a task that could be a redemption story for Lowe.

“When I was in eighth grade wood shop, I failed it because I couldn’t make the diorama.” he reveals. But that doesn’t seem to hinder the actor’s confidence when it comes to his crafting task. With his signature politeness intact, he tells his opponent, “You’re a very nice to person, but I’m gonna win.”

Somehow the face-off manages to include a bunzilla attack, a low-key Bruce Springsteen references, and an admission about glue guns. Watch the full video above to see who wins!
