Benji and Joel Madden can rock and, it turns out, wrap!

The brothers behind Good Charlotte faced off with Christmas queen Busy Philipps for the final episode of a holiday DIY series hosted by Michaels craft stores. Previous editions have found Snoop Dogg struggling with the intricacies of glitter glue during an ornament decorating challenge, and Jason Biggs overcoming incredible odds to win a wreath-related “make off.”

For their challenge, the Maddens are given a plain piece of brown craft paper and 30 minutes to conjure some holiday magic. “We have a rough strategy. It’s not going to really materialize for a minute here,” say Joel of his evergreen-oriented design. He also makes a very un-rock-n-roll admission: “We go to Michael’s like every other weekend,” says the dad of two —daughter Harlow, 8, and son Sparrow,7, with wife, Nicole Richie.

The twins’ wrapping paper creation, however, couldn’t be anymore hardcore. Despite sporting a big hand-painted Christmas tree, stamped polka dots and pom-poms, the most outstanding element is a big red, glitter-covered anarchy symbol in place of the star.

“Do you have an anarchy star on the top of your tree at home?” Philipps inquires. The brothers reply in true twinning fashion, with a simultaneous “yes.” If they aren’t fibbing, Richie and Benji’s wife, Cameron Diaz, are certainly open minded about holiday decor. If they are, however, Santa will know!
