What do Gisele Bündchen, Khloé Kardashian, President Obama, Usher, Conan O’Brien and Katy Perry have in common? They’ve all recently traveled to Cuba and were completely enchanted by the Caribbean island.
You can now snag tickets from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to three Cuban cities for $99 each way through JetBlue, one of the six U.S.-based airlines that received approval in June to begin commercial flights to Cuba, according to Conde Nast Traveler.
Starting August 31, the affordable airline will launch their first route from Fort Lauderdale to Santa Clara three times a week, with trips to Camagüey and Holguín beginning shortly thereafter. Beginning October 1, flights to Santa Clara will run daily, while Camagüey will follow suit on November 3 and Holguín on November 10, just in time for a holiday escape.

According to Traveler, “JetBlue is pricing fares extremely competitively” to promote the new routes. “That’s a significant bargain compared to existing charter flights, which can run closer to $600.” Although a visa is required to travel to Cuba, it’s well worth the paperwork to explore the historic — and beautiful — island nation that’s now receiving regular air service for the first time in more than 50 years.
