Amber Rose‘s home decor is all about pirates, dinosaurs and stilettos.

The model, feminist activist, fashion designer and now TV talk show host has decorated her home in a sophisticated neutral, modern scheme. But between the impressive collection of toys belonging to her three-year-old son Sebastian and Rose’s own of towering heels, the home’s decor plays second string to all the trappings of her busy life. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Sebastian loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates,” says the Amber Rose Show star, 32, showing off the desert island mural that covers her son’s room. The space is any little boy’s dream — filled with dinosaurs, Play-Doh, sidewalk chalk and educational games. “I do allow him to write on the walls sometimes because he’s spoiled,” she says, holding up a piece of chalk and sounding far from guilt ridden. “I spoil him rotten.”

Moving on to more grown-up interests, Rose, who famously dated Kanye West and was married to Whiz Khalifa (Sebastian is his son), leads the way through hallways lined in closets to her jaw-dropping shoe room. “This is my favorite room in the house,” she says. “This is the stuff I usually wear randomly, but I have a lot of shoes in storage, too. I’m kind of a shoe fanatic.”

Dark wood shelves reach from floor to ceiling. On the ground, an artful rug depicting a realistic red rose adds an undeniably feminine feel to the dim space. “You’ll see I have a lot of pink. Pink is my favorite color,” Rose explains, admiring her collection. Adding, “I have to say that my favorite shoes are probably my pink Giuseppe’s. I love Giuseppe [Zanotti]. They’re so comfortable and they fit me so well.”

With one room covered with bright toys, another littered in designer kicks and her rambunctious son in her lap, it’s clear Rose’s home is a perfect fit for her unpredictable life.
