Tour The Hills Star Lo Bosworth's New York City Apartment: 'It’s Really a Sanctuary for Me'
Inside Lo Bosworth's New York City Home
Lo Bosworth has traded The Hills for the West Village! The reality star-turned-lifestyle blogger recently relocated to a new apartment in her adopted hometown of New York, and is sharing inside her chic city pad. Because it was “the place I moved into when my last relationship ended,” Bosworth worked with AllModern to ensure it was “warm, welcoming, and most of all — new.”
At the top of her list was the neutral-colored sofa for the living room. “An enormous cozy couch was a MUST-HAVE for my new apartment,” she writes in a post on her website, The Lo Down. “I’m a sucker for Netflix and chilling, what can I say?”
Casual and Comfortable
A minimalist gold floor lamp, graphic art and a marble side table she’s “held onto for awhile” embody her low-key aesthetic. “I wanted the vibe to feel light and accessible — like you’d feel comfortable snuggling up on the couch rather than being nervous to walk on the carpet,” she says.
A nook housing a new woven armchair and a rattan cabinet she brought with her when she left Los Angeles in 2012 serve as a makeshift dressing station. “A New York apartment at heart, I get dressed most often in this corner of my house,” she says. “Every room has many functions!”
“I needed a good looking TV stand because I spend a lot of time in front of mine,” she says. The grated section at the top allows her to “change the channel without moving” — a total score for Bosworth.
Light and Bright Bedroom
A gray upholstered frame and green, leaf-print artwork create a soothing scene in her sleeping space. “I’m a tiny person who loves a king-sized bed,” she says. “I was lucky enough to find an apartment with a bedroom big enough to cater to my silly needs.”
The TV stand in her bedroom mimics the white statement piece in the living room. The main difference? “This one is walnut,” she says.
