WATCH: 'RHONY' 's Luann de Lesseps Debuts Her Bedding Collection: 'It's Really a Style of Living'

The Real Housewives star divulges what she considers "uncool" in home decor

Real Housewives of New York’s Luann de Lesseps has dipped her toe in many a creative field. She’s designed a clothing line, launched a jewelry collection and even recorded a few unforgettable songs. Now the Countess is bringing it all home with a new bedding collection, to include sheet sets, duvets and plenty of throw pillows with “just the right amount of bling.” She gave PEOPLE a sneak peek of the line, before it’s available in stores.

“My collection is really a style of living, it’s chic made easy,” says de Lesseps, quoting the tagline of her burgeoning lifestyle empire. The Countess Collection includes three lines, the first being Hopeless Romantic, a bridal collection, inspired by recent developments in the star’s personal life. “I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I’m getting married,” she jokes. “The bridal, I’m definitely going to use in New York City because we spend a lot of time [there].”

The Hamptons Chic spread takes style notes from de Lessep’s Long Island home and includes a toile print that depicts scenes from her personal garden there.

The Urban Traveler, a slightly punchier, printed collection, she says simply references “all the travels that I’ve done around the world.”

With regard to her own bed-making habits, de Lesseps reveals that “Tom and I make the bed together in the morning. We’re both neat freaks. We can’t leave the room until the bed is made.” She also tells PEOPLE that she likes a big collection of pillows on the bed.

In the spirit of her most recent single, “Girl Code (Don’t Be So Uncool),” she also revealed the one decorating trend she simply can’t support. “When it comes to home decor I think purple is uncool . . . across the board. There is no way purple works anywhere in a house as far as I’m concerned.”
