Drew and Jonathan Scott's Guide to Toronto: Where to Eat, Sleep and Challenge the Property Brothers to a Ping Pong Match
The Property Brothers stars are headed to the city for the IT House x Producers Ball to host the Producers Ball on Friday. And as Canada natives, the 39-year-old twins are no strangers to the Ontario capital — Jonathan even has a home there with girlfriend, Jacinta.
If you’re headed to the northern hotspot for this weeks’ events, which run through Sept. 17, or simply visiting for the first time, check out the Scott brothers’ expert recommendations.
“This is our must stop in Toronto for our style needs. Our good friend Charlotte always makes sure we are dressed properly, otherwise I’d be wearing gym clothes all the time. They’re located in the awesome Distillery District, which is a bonus because after a little shopping, I head over to….”
“The hot chocolate cafe where Linda and I had (part of) our very first date! It’s a cool spot where you sometimes catch the chocolate makers in action!”
“This is one of my fave hangout spots where I brush up on my ping pong skills. The music is always upbeat and the locally sourced food is delicious. If you see me here, challenge me to a match.”
“Board games and snacks — my kind of low key night out!”
“This historical theatre beautifully sets the stage for top-notch productions. I’ve seen everything from musicals and plays to Hugh Jackman’s one man show. It’s the first place I look for something to do.”
“I’ll admit, I’m a little cheesy. There’s nothing better than some wine and fresh cheese for a romantic night in.”
“Who doesn’t want to do some role playing in an actual castle? There are several great escape rooms in Toronto but being trapped in a castle — definitely worth checking out.”
“The talented bakers here can pull anything off when it comes to cakes! And they’ll even teach you how in their workshops. I must say, I’m a better cake eater than I am a maker.”

Where to Catch Both Twins in Action:
“This is one of our go-to spots for iconic city views and late-night grilled cheese sandwiches at The Diner.”
“We’re excited to be back in Toronto and to partner with our friend Natasha Koifman to create a hub for friends, talent and industry leaders to hang out in during the Toronto Film Festival! It’s always such a bustling time of year and we’re happy to make a unique experience, mixing it up by collaborating with some amazing brands.”
